Join with island friends and neighbors for this gala get together on Saturday, December 12, at the Community Center.

Dinner begins at 5 pm and serving continues through 6:30 pm.

Who is invited?  You, your relatives, friends and neighbors. We hope every islander will attend.

What will be provided?  Turkey, Ham, Potatoes and Gravy.

What should you bring for the potluck?  Your choice of a hot dish, salad, bread, vegetable plate, sweet potatoes, or a dessert.  Pies, pies, pies!  To quote Win Anderson, “People and pies are encouraged.”

Bring your children early at 4 pm for an hour of Children’s Activities.  These will include crafts, games, and singing.  Older children will paint egg ornaments.  Grades 1-3 will make doggie treats. Toddlers will do a “Find the tiny books” game in the library. Sock puppets will entertain with a “Holiday Delights Puppet Theater“  presentation.

This event is presented by the combined efforts of the Guemes Island Community Council, the Ferry Committee, the Fire Department, GIPOA, the Library Board, CERT, and the Guemes Island Community Church, plus talented Guemes musicians.
