(March 4, 1947 - October 19, 2010) 

Ann “Annie” McCain-Nicolino, 63, of Guemes Island, Anacortes, Washington, was born on March 4, 1947 in Seattle, WA and passed away on October 19, 2010 surrounded by family and friends. Ann was a free spirit that loved her family, gardens, cats, tattoos, reading, and art. That was our Ann, always interesting and never boring. Ann is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Isabel Popken. She is survived by her daughters Terra and Michelle, grandchildren Tyler, Loren and Thomas, sister Judy, niece Shannon, nephew Eric, and many great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm, Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Edens Cemetery on Guemes Island, followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:30 pm, at Evans Funeral Chapel in Anacortes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Northwest Foundation at www.hospicenw.org.
