Transition Fidalgo & Friends presents Whidbey Island author Kurt Hoelting on Friday, January 21, 6:30-8 PM at the Anacortes Library.

Hoelting will share his year-long quest for a radically local life as described in The Circumference of Home, an account of the author's journey through familiar Northwest landscapes by foot, kayak and bicycle.

The talk will be followed by a panel of Anacortes residents who'll discuss the benefits and obstacles to living a more car-free life. 

$5 suggested donation. The author will have books for sale.

Transition Fidalgo & Friends is an all-volunteer non-profit group dedicated to strengthening our community’s resilience by developing solutions to the challenges of climate change, energy uncertainty, and economic instability.
