Special Film Screening:  "A Sea Change: Imagine a World Without Fish".

As part of the Anacortes Library Centennial Celebration, Friends of Skagit Beaches is sponsoring a special film screening of "A Sea Change: Imagine a World Without Fish".

This highly acclaimed film follows retired teacher Sven Huseby on his journey to learn what is happening to the world's oceans.  He tells the frightening story about rising acidity in the oceans and what this "sea change" bodes for mankind.  The documentary explains environmental consequences if this trend continues and presents alternatives that we must choose before the oceans are lost. 

Please join us for this special event Wednesday,  March 22, 7 p.m. at the Anacortes Library.  The film presentation is free and open to all.
