Gene Kiver, Ph.D. will follow the development of the island through the plate tectonics setting, the influence of Ice Age Glaciers, and speculate on the future geological developments. Dr. Kiver's specialty is geomorphology which emphasizes surface features and their development. Islanders can bring a rock or two if they need help with identification.
