Seventh Generation Supper
Join Transition Fidalgo & Friends for our monthly community supper. Shelly Randall will inspire us with a presentation on sustainability initiatives in Port Townsend that are attracting regional and even national attention. These include LION (Local Investing Opportunities Network), a community-owned general store, a robust garden network, the ReCyclery bicycle center, the Pedalpalooza bicycle festival, and so many solar rooftop systems that nearly 1% of the county's utility customers are producing energy rather than just consuming it. Come and hear what our neighbors on the Olympic Peninsula are doing to make their community more resilient and thriving!
Everyone is welcome to this community supper catered by Gere-a-deli. Please bring your own bowl, cup, plate and utensils. Suggested donation: $5/adult; $3/10 and under.
