Calendar:

Influential Women during the Transcendental Period

Connie Snell will facilitate a discussion on what it was like to have been a free spirited, intellectual woman in the 1800’s in America.  We will look at women over 3 consecutive Saturdays, beginning with the 3 Peabody sisters, followed by Margaret Fuller and Louisa May Alcott.  They helped forge a path for greater inclusion of women in all facets of life.  This is a gender free opportunity.  Come and join the discussion.

Disclaimer:  This is not a class, simply a discussion.  I am not an expert, but just particularly  interested in this period of American history.
