Beat the Heat Movie Night will feature Crude Impact, a thought provoking story which chronicles the collision of our insatiable appetire for oil with the rights and livelihoods of indigenous cultures.  Director James Jandak Wood traces how the world has become dependent on fossil fuels and how little has been done to develop alternative energy sources.

It is filled with discovery, sorrow, outrage, humor and ultimately hope.
