Guemes Island Does La Manzanilla, Mexico!

A group of Guemes Islanders braved the flight and various customs inspections to bask in the sun and swim in the surf, mid winter, in southern Mexico. A small fishing village, much like Anacortes used to be, the photo essay to follow captures some of the sights of La Manzanilla. Wonderful people, a rare treasure of culture and friendship on the shores of southern Mexico.
