Guemes Turtle Braves Edens Rd Crossing

August 23, 2010 at 7:21pm  •  Created by: Tim Wittman  •  From Set: My Guemes Collection 7
Looking like a hockey puck or a walking clam, this big (7 - 8 inch) turtle recently crossed Edens Rd from the marsh on the north side, to Dave Hartford's place on the south side. Turtles are a bit rare on Guemes, at least for me they are. I wonder what kind of turtle this could be?

Saw the same kind of turtle crossing my paddock last Thursday 19th. Offered it water in a shallow pan but it climbed out and kept heading south into the woods. Looked a little while later and it was nowhere to be seen. Wonder if it was the same one!
