this was entitled a mrs. brown,, bow, friends of blackinton or murrow,, or perhaps both, great picture of native woman,, do you have any information on her.. Blackintons wifes last name was also the same. circa 1886

I think this is the wife of William Brown the Founder of Bow.
Yes it is,, the wife of the founder of Bow,, she looks so serious,, but picture taking back then,, probably one of the first pictures is scary. I am sure that the Photographer had so many rules,, dont move,,, look happy,, and then the flash.
