Grease On The Beach

Have you seen these on the Guemes Island beaches?

A number the globules of grease, some fist-sized, have been found recently along the south shore of the island. This particluar globule was found a short distance east of the ferry dock.

The Department of Ecology laboratory confirmed that this sample was petroleum-based grease.
