Minutes Special Meeting (pending approval)

December 30, 2011

The Special Meeting to appoint a Fire Commissioner was called to order at 10:10 am at the Fire Hall by Commissioner Nicolls, Chairman.

Present:  Commissioners Nicolls & Fees, Chief Stamper, Secretary Pellett, Chip Bogosian, Tom Murphy, Deb Bear, Mark Spahr, Zander Woofenden and Howard Pellett.

The purpose of the meeting was to appoint a commissioner to replace Commissioner Dugan, who recently resigned.

Chairman Nicolls invited the two candidates, Deb Bear and Tom Murphy, to briefly give a background and qualifications of themselves.   

After each had made statements and questions from those attending had been answered, the Commissioners unanimously appointed Tom Murphy to replace and complete the remaining term of Fire Commissioner Jim Dugan who recently resigned.  The term ends in 2013.

Meeting adjourned at 10:20 AM.
