| Guemes Ferry Schedule Tweaks Steve Flude, Assistant Director of Public Works, says, "We've come up with a few tweaks to the current schedule [to enable students to arrive and depart school on time] at the request of the Ferry Committee and some concerned parents. If all goes as planned, the Board will approve the new schedule next Monday [September 27] . It will then go into effect [Tuesday, September 28]. However, I want to be clear on this: If, and until, the Board of County Commissioners approves the schedule changes there is no revised Schedule." The schedule changes devised by the Scheduling and Fares Task Force and approved by the County Commissioners have been postponed until March 2005.
